ELECTROMYOGRAPHY & NERVE CONDUCTION STUDIES

We are pleased to partner with Dr. LeRoy Heffernan - Neurologist and Ms. Mary Heffernan - EMG Technologist, in the provision of Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) and Electromyography (EMG) diagnostic testing from our facility in New Minas. Dr. Heffernan is a well-recognized Neurologist and Electromyographer, with an outstandingly diverse clinical and academic background.

We accept referrals for NCS/EMGs from physicians only for those aged 16 years and older. We are commited to offering timely services in order to facilitate optimal medical care with respect to diagnosis, treatment and management. This diagnostic test is covered in Nova Scotia by MSI.
